I thoguht I'd share a few sketches done at the figure drawing workshop organized by AESA.  In a future post I'll be writing a more detailed account of the tips and tricks that were shared during the workshop, but for now enjoy some awesome drawings!

The single digit that each number equals represents the number of circles-hence the 'visual' puzzle.  Since 2581 only has two circles in the 8 the answer is 2.

Art Education Student Grad Show

Now that it's the end of the school year, I thought I'd share this video tour of the UVic Art Ed Grad Show: Passed with flying colours.  The show featured works from high school students and their student teachers, as well as those of members of AESA including myself.   The amazing artworks that were on display are sure to spark some great ideas for September!
